Technical data
Instead the fact that I'm plenty satisfied by the plugin bundle available with Protool 8, I was looking for a little more versatility regarding effect processing and mainly mastering tools. After some extended research, I decided to buy the MCDSP Project Studio Bundle. I use this bundle since 6 months and I truly think it was the best choice. As my home studio is pretty compact as well as my budget, the hardware is not an option... The bundle feature all the basic tool needed to upgrade any recording, making it pleasant for the ears or at least enough loud!!! ML1 (master limiter), Revolver (convulsion reverb) and Compressorbank (vintage compressor emulation) are my favourite. I've never used Synthesizer One as i'm a hardware (instruments) freak. Filterbank is not very useful for me and I finally found some utility for the Chrome Amp on vocals. The price tag is around 300$ and you can't go wrong with this bundle.
